| FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS |
What if I need to amend/make additions to my order?
Please ensure that you have ordered the correct amount of tiles you require, any additions, or amendments will be subject to the minimum delivery charge of £30 due to haulage costs once the order has been processed, or if a few tiles are required, they will need to be ordered as samples.
How long will it take for my delivery to arrive?
All of our tiles are delivered through a nationwide haulage company across mainland UK. Our standard delivery time is 3-5 days from your payment clearing.
What if I buy too many tiles?
Unfortunately we are unable to accept back any tiles that are surplus to your
requirements. We do however recommend that you keep a certain amount of tiles
for future use (damages etc). There is nothing more frustrating then breaking
one or two fixed and when you return to the shop for a replacement they are
discontinued.
What is the difference between ceramic and porcelain?
Porcelain tiles are still ceramic tiles, however, when they are made they are
fired at a higher temperature (approx 1600°C) therefore they become denser
thus they are heavier and more hardwearing. They are an all round better quality
of tile.
How do I lay a combination floor?
We will send you a copy of the combination design with your order. Just copy
the design; it really is surprising how easy it is!
Why do I need flexible adhesive and grout on wooden floors?
In any environment wood heats up and cools down thus it expands and contracts.
If you’re your floor is moving and the adhesive doesn’t allow for
the movement then it will crack and the tiles will release from the floor. In
some cases the movement can cause the tiles to crack! The same theory applies
for grout!
